Top 4 benefits of reading to my baby

1) Kids whose parents talk and read to them often know more words by age 2 than children who have not been read to.

2) Your baby hears you using many different emotions and expressive sounds. This supports social and emotional development

3) It encourages your baby to look, point, touch, and answer questions. This helps with social development and thinking skills

How to teach body parts to your little ones?

Here are some educational tips you can use based on the age of your child:

After 6 months: Point to your baby's body parts and name them. Start by pointing to your own nose and say 'nose'. Then point to your baby's nose and repeat 'nose'. Do this for a few times.

After 10 months: Show your baby picture books and point out body parts of the characters in the story. Ask questions like “where is the tail of the donkey?” or “show me the giraffe's neck”.
